Drawing upon the expertise of the Faculty of Science and The Wollotuka Institute (widely regarded as a national leader in Indigenous education), the Development Studies - Global Indigenous Studies program at the University of Newcastle offers students an interdisciplinary understanding of uneven development, decolonisation, identity cultures, and representation, that will enable students to be active global citizens ready to create innovative solutions to pressing issues in local, regional, national and international contexts.
