The Business Analytics program from Hofstra University will prepare you to apply solutions and analytical skills to address business challenges.

Our accomplished full-time and adjunct faculty tap into their experiences in business and knowledge, which they gain conducting research that they publish in prominent academic journals and present at industry conferences.

Career

We prepare you for a wide range of careers including computer and information system management, web and applications software development, network management, and database programming. We partner with IBM Skills Academy to offer a series of courses that teach business technology skills desired by employers today. Courses include Artificial Intelligence for Business; Blockchain for Business; and Design Thinking and Data Science.

General requirements

Admitted students intending to enroll at the university must submit their final high school transcript or proof of degree (copy of high school diploma) to the Office of Admission. Students are not permitted to begin classes at Hofstra until proof of their high school degree is received. In addition, federal financial aid will not be applied to the student's account until proof of the student's high school degree is received (when applicable).
International applicants must provide Hofstra with all final transcripts so that any advanced standing credit can be determined. For example, advanced standing may be awarded for the I.B., the Abitur, "A" level examinations, and other upper-secondary school certificates.
