The Business Management and Media (Hons) course from Keele University combines learning about the practicalities of business management with critical insights into the power of media. By looking closely at phenomena such as advertising and social networking, you will learn how these can influence individuals and societies.
You will pay particular attention to how media, communications and culture works in the context of management, looking at how businesses operate in terms of marketing, finance and human resource management, as well as how they interface with social, cultural and political contexts. In particular, you will focus on how businesses communicate with their audiences, and how they interact with, and even help to create, aspects of culture.
