Programme Structure

  • The Secondary Mathematics Education major must complete a minimum of 125 semester hours of university courses. 
  • These include 43 hours in mathematics, 8 hours in sciences and 27 hours in education. 
  • Also, majors must earn a “C” or better grade in each required mathematics course taken to fulfill the mathematics requirement.

General Requirements

  • International students must meet all criteria for unconditional acceptance into a degree program of study at North Carolina A&T and provide documented proof of ability to meet financial responsibilities associated with enrollment and living expenses.
  • Standardized Testing Scores (ACT, SAT) must be officially reported to N.C. A&T by the testing agency.
  • Submit Official Transcripts. Transcripts should be sent officially to the Office of Undergraduate Admissions, signed and sealed, via postal mail. 
  • Submit Application Fee. A non-refundable application fee payment of $60 is required to complete your admissions application.
