
In this Applied Informatics programme at the University of Hradec Králové , students learn mathematical foundations and get a background in mathematical statistics. Emphasis is placed on deeper “technical” disciplines such as object modelling; programming techniques; and design and implementation of information systems, computer systems, and web technologies. Students also obtain basic knowledge of management and professional English. Practical skills are stressed in all areas.
A graduate is qualified to work as a programmer, a designer, an administrator of information systems and computer networks, or a web designer. Graduates can be employed at middle-level managerial positions in companies and enterprises.
