The Business Accounting with Foundation Year (Hons) programme from Middlesex University London Branch offers you the opportunity to gain both a solid grounding in accountancy at the same time as being able to gain additional understanding of other business functions.

The Foundation Year is designed to be a launch pad for assisting your further studies and to boost your knowledge and skills so you are up-to-speed and ready to meet the challenges of a the main degree (Year Two - Year Four). This year is also ideal for those who have perhaps been out of study for a while or need to gain more confidence in their own abilities. 

There are 6 compulsory modules in Year One which are designed to give a solid grounding in the subject and prepare you for further study in Years Two and Three. 

Teaching and assessment

The BSc (Hons) Business Accounting with Foundation Year programme is a full-time classroom course. You may be able to choose to study this course daytime, or evening and weekends. 

You will have 12 hours per week of contact time throughout your programme and will be expected to engage in 28 hours per week of self-study time. If you choose to study the daytime course, the course will be delivered across 2 days each week. If you choose to study the evening and weekend option, tuition will be on 2 evenings and a Saturday each week.
