With an emphasis on business, the curriculum focuses on cosmetic and fashion history, cosmetic and skin care product knowledge, colour theories and current trends, marketing and social media, ethics and sustainability, and creative suites applications. In additon, you will aquire the practical skills needed to apply make-up to the face and body including special effects for film and television.
The Cosmetic Management program from Humber College delivers a range of business-focused cosmetic courses. You will be introduced to the history of cosmetics and fashion; computer applications; cosmetic selling; retail buying; cosmetic, fragrance, and skin care product knowledge; marketing and social media; and application skills including advanced cosmetic applications and special effects for film and television.
