At the Slovak University of Technology in Bratislava, besides attainments from mathematic, physics and electrotechnics, knowledge from selected areas of Telecommunications, as are digital communications, telecommunication technique, signal processing, transmission systems, switching systems, mobile and satellite communication, telecommunication transmission lines, communication protocols, but also knowledge from areas of communication and information systems.

Programme Structure

  • STU runs bachelor's and master's degree programmes that can be realized individually at one or more faculties, possibly at more faculties as an interfaculty study. 
  • Fulfilment of the requirements of studies in a programme (henceforth "studies") is recorded through a credit system based on the principles of the European Credit Transfer System (henceforth "ECTS").

  • Admission procedure is based on "Principles of admission to first level of study at FEI STU" adopted by annually Academic Senate of the Faculty of Electrical Engineering and Information Technology. 
  • There is no entrance examination, candidates are admitted based on their secondary school kind and study results, to which point valuation is allocated.
