Career Prospects
The Medical Laboratory Sciences program of University of Central Florida meets the educational eligibility criteria for a national board exam for medical laboratory science/medical technology as well as state licensure. Both completion of the degree program and certification by the national board will meet licensure requirements by the State of Florida Board of Clinical Laboratory Personnel. We are unable to confirm licensure and/or certification requirements of other states. If you intend to pursue such credentialing in your state or elsewhere, we advise you to contact the applicable state credentialing authority to familiarize yourself with its specific requirements and determine if our program meets its eligibility criteria.
