This International Foundation in Mathematics and Actuarial Sciences - Media and International Development with Overseas Placement programme from INTO University of East Anglia  is a form of preparation course that will allow you to advance your language skills or grades while still getting the credits you need to graduate the full-time degree. This option allows you a way to complete your studies at the same time with local students taking the regular Direct Entry programme. Depending on your language level, the International Foundation in Mathematics and Actuarial Sciences can take one or multiple terms to complete.

Academic requirements:

  • Completion of 12 years of schooling (or the local equivalent to meet the same standard) with good grades.

English requirements:

  • Standard - IELTS 5.0 (with a minimum of 5.0 in Writing and Reading and 4.5 in all other subskills) or equivalent. IELTS 6.0 minimum overall with minimum of 6.0 in all subskills for students aiming to progress to Nursing, Physiotherapy or Occupational Therapy. IELTS 6.0 minimum overall with minimum of 5.5 in all subskills for students aiming to progress to Pharmacy.
    • Extended - IELTS 4.5 overall (with a minimum of 4.5 in Writing and Reading and no less than 4.0 in other subskills) or equivalent. IELTS 5.5 minimum overall with minimum of 5.5 in all subskills for students aiming to progress to Nursing, Physiotherapy or Occupational Therapy. IELTS 5.5 minimum overall with minimum of 5.0 in all subskills for students aiming to progress to Pharmacy.
