
Overview
The International Foundation in Business, Humanities and Social Sciences - International Studies and Politics programme at INTO Queen's University Belfast is a form of preparation course that will allow you to advance your language skills or grades while still getting the credits you need to graduate the full-time degree.
This option allows you a way to complete your studies at the same time with local students taking the regular Direct Entry program. Depending on your language level, the International Foundation Year can take one or multiple semesters to complete.
Students at International Foundation in Business, Humanities and Social Sciences - Law from INTO Queen's University Belfast will:

- Completion of 12 years of schooling (or the local equivalent to meet the same standard) with good grades. All students must hold a GCSE grade 4/C Mathematics or equivalent.
- Standard option: IELTS 5.0 (with a minimum of 5.0 in writing and no less than 4.5 in all other subskills) or equivalent.
- Extended option: 4 Terms: IELTS 4.5 (with a minimum of 4.5 in writing and no less than 4.0 in all other subskills) or equivalent
- Extended option: 5 Terms: IELTS 4.0 (with a minimum of 4.0 in all subskills) or equivalent.
