The (Hons) Business Management (Global) programme offered by The University of Law Business School is designed so that the first year covers the foundation elements of business management. Year 2 is spent studying overseas at one of our partner institutions in Dublin Singapore, Toronto, Vancouver or Berlin. Years 2 and 3 cover the area in more depth and in particular develops your employability skills.

The programme provides the intellectual underpinnings required for a career in a rapidly changing work environment, a rigorous approach to self-awareness and personal development and a significant exposure to the world of work and its current demands through work experience opportunities.  

Through the learning experiences offered, and the skills and competences gained, students will understand effective managerial behaviour developed in today’s complex organizations and turbulent business environments.

Careers

After graduating students will have a variety of international career options available to them, including management consultant, business analyst or operations manager within a wider business context. Students may also consider furthering their studies with one of the following postgraduate options: Masters of Business Administration (MBA), MSc in Strategic Business Management or Chartered Management Institute’s postgraduate qualifications.

Programme Structure

The course offers an excellent grounding in knowledge of the key aspects of business management that are covered by a range of modules from the Management subject area.

In turn, the degree seeks to inculcate in students many of the skills and competences in research, presentation, critical analysis, problem solving, team building and entrepreneurship, which all together should be helpful for future employment opportunities.

Academic Requirements

  • 32 UCAS points from the equivalent of one A Level or 40 UCAS points from the equivalent of two A Levels. 5 GCSE’s at A - C (9-4) including English, and Grade D/4 or above in Maths or equivalent qualifications.
  • International Students: An English language level equivalent to IELTS 6.0 or above with a minimum of 5.5 in each component.
