General Requirements

  • Achievement of a minimum of five GCSE grades A*-C or 8-4, or equivalent, is normally required. These must include Mathematics and English (minimum grade B or 6), or equivalent.
  • A Levels: AAB. GCSE Mathematics and English (minimum grade B or 6) required if not taken at A or AS level.
  • Scottish Qualifications: AAABB at Higher Grade. Mathematics and English required at National 5, minimum grade B (or grade 2 Standard Grade or Intermediate 2 equivalent) if not offered at Higher Grade. 
  • International Baccalaureate: 35 points. Standard Level Mathematics or Mathematical Studies and English (Language and/or Literature) required at grade 5 if not offered at Higher Level.
