The ‘Flying Start’ degree is a collaboration between Newcastle University , PwC and ICAEW. It is the most established degree of its kind. The Business Accounting and Finance (Hons) programme from Newcastle University combines academic study and integrated paid professional work placements in PwC’s Audit practice. You'll progress towards the ICAEW Chartered Accountancy qualification, the ACA.

This year we are celebrating 20 years of the Flying Start programme. We are pioneers of this degree, being the first University to offer students the opportunity to study alongside completing placement in partnership with PwC. The Flying Start degree has provided students with the best start to their future since beginning in 2002.

Hear from current students, staff and alumni and celebrate the Flying Start celebrations with us! Check out the official programme page for more details.
