The (Hons) Accounting and Finance from The University of Law Business School seeks to give students a learning experience that allows them to develop proficiencies that create effective accounting professionals in today’s changing business environment. Year 1 provides you with a good understanding of the foundations of accounting and finance alongside the fundamentals of business. Years 2 and 3 gives you in-depth knowledge of how companies use accounting and finance to make decisions, report performance under conditions of uncertainty and risk. The programme provides the intellectual underpinnings required for a professional career in a rapidly changing work environment, a rigorous approach to self-awareness and personal development and a significant exposure to the world of work and its current demands through work experience opportunities.
