In this program, students explore and develop strategies to promote/improve the health of individuals and communities with a community health degree. They learn to identify culturally appropriate health education, information, and outreach in community-based settings, such as homes, schools, clinics, shelters, local businesses, and community centers.
The Community Health course at Bay Path University provides skills to facilitate access to the healthcare service, collect data and/or provide direct services. Develop strategies and skills to advocate and educate individual’s and community members about behaviors that promote wellness. Identify and explore health concerns and issues with members of specific populations or communities.
With a community health degree, you will enhance community relations through outreach programs that will benefit your community.

Applicants for graduate programs must have the equivalent of a bachelor’s degree with a minimum GPA equivalent to 2 on a US 4.0 grading scale. Admitted applicants typically have an undergraduate GPA of or better on a 4.0 scale. No exam grade should be lower than 4.5 (European grade scale) or D (American grade scale).
Your GPA (Grade Point Average) is calculated using the grades that you received in each course, and is determined by the points assigned to each grade (e.g. for the US grading scale from A-F).
