Please note effective 20 March 9 pm AEDT, the Australian Government implemented new travel bans and restrictions whereby only Australian citizens, Permanent Residents, their spouses and dependants could enter the country. For students who would like to study a course that’s offered on campus, we will work with you to enrol you online first and transition you to campus once the travel restrictions change.

In the Bachelor Film and Video from Torrens University Australia , you will gain broad, flexible hands-on skills in editing and post-production, sound design, concept design, project planning, cinematography, compositing and visual effects.

Throughout the course, you’ll collaborate with other students in the Design Studio on a diverse range of projects. In this dynamic learning environment, you’ll explore pre-production planning, motion graphic design, and digital video production. You’ll discover and define a design problem in the digital media world and deliver an outcome while developing essential skills in teamwork and negation.

At the same time, led by outstanding industry professionals, you will explore the theory and context of design, film, TV and animation to really bring your creativity to life. In your final year you can apply for an internship in a professional motion design studio or production house, and have the chance to work on a live project work for a real client.

You will also have the opportunity to complement your studies by completing elective subjects in 3D Design & Animation, Interaction Design or Communication Design. You can pick and mix elective subjects to edit your degree to reach your goals.
