This Chemical Engineering with Foundation Year (Honours) programme from Sheffield Hallam University establishes core chemical engineering knowledge through practical and project-based learning – with an emphasis on industrial challenges. The skills and experience gained will enable you to design safe, sustainable and cost-effective chemical plants and processes.
The course is suitable if you don’t meet the entry requirements for our BEng (Hons) Chemical Engineering course, or you want extra preparation before starting degree-level study. You share the first year with other engineering, maths and physics foundation year students, then move on to the degree.
