The Communication program of University of Wisconsin - Whitewater teaches the students to be professional communicators who are ethical, responsible, talented, knowledgeable, and aware of the need to be life-long learners.
The Communication Department has small classes and professors with real-world experience in the fields they teach. Students who select one of our seven majors are strongly encouraged to take part in "high-impact" practices that provide the opportunity to earn class credit while getting the valuable experience that employers in communication want in those they hired.
There are many opportunities to study abroad through the University and the Communication Department also sponsors a faculty-led travel study program every year just for communication students.
