The course begins by providing the student with a strong foundation in core biomedical topics such as human anatomy, biomechanics and materials.This core knowledge is further developed as the course progresses onto topics such as Medical Imaging & Graphics and Medical Device Design. Students will also gain an insight into the medical device industry during modules on Regulatory Affairs and Management & Professional Development. Graduates of this course are well equipped to enter a wide variety of roles in the Biomedical sector such as Product and Process design, Manufacturing, Production and Automation.

  • Leaving Certificate Examination with:

  • One of the above subjects must be English.
