Most importantly, Marketing reflects a set of core values of a company and, thus, assumes a decisive and strategic role in the success of the company. Marketing was once a function that enjoyed a certain amount of freedom in the mother company. However, nowadays, marketing is closely linked to Corporate Management as a catalyser of the entire business operations. This is especially true as global companies are highly dependent on markets worldwide, which can be extremely selective in their options.

In recent times, various changes have contributed towards raising the image of Marketing, such as the new attitude of a constantly changing market, the advent of the Internet and other Information Technologies which function as media of communication and distribution and wide diffusion of fashion trends, life styles and consumption.

In this new context of the business world, Marketing has assumed a preponderant role in the life cycle of organisations: in market analysis, strategic orientation of the business, positioning of goods and services and, finally, the implementation of a set policies to stimulate demand and profitability.

The students will be capable of mastering the Human Resources administrative, operations and strategic management techniques for profit and non profit institutions, of medium and large size, as well as for public institutions.

The students professional profile when graduated will allow them to gladly enrol in any process related to the human resources management, either in a management position or a technical one, as a consultant in the area.and Compensations, complementing those with current subjects as HR Strategic Management, Competences Development, Change Management, Internal Communication, Culture and Identity, Innovation and Entrepreneurship, Social Responsibility and sustainability. The degree culminates with a Project/Internship duly supported by a Professor from the same expertise area as the internship.

The Faculty members mainly hold PhDs and Masters in the HRM field of expertise, with solid professional and academic experience in many public and private institutions and performing tasks in the area of People Management intervention and different levels of qualification and context.
