Programme Structure

  • The first year courses introduce the basic knowledge and skill involved in design to prepare a good foundation in architecture before advancing to the second year courses. The projects designed enable the students in Z" understanding the meaning and the application of design elements and principles. 
  • The second year courses enhance the understanding in design incorporating basic 'building services, passive and active design strategies and moderate building construction systems. The projects given involve real client and site allowing the student to experience the real process of designing.

General Requirements

Applicant who is interested in pursuing his/ her studied at UPM must fulfil thefollowing:

  • To have received a National Higher School Certificate (or an Advanced Level or the equivalent of 12 years of basic education) with the grade 80% and above or
  • A Diploma from recognized Institutions with at least a CGPA of 3.00. and There are also specific entrance requirements for some courses, particularly in the sciences, so please check the requirements for your course
