About

This Medical Imaging Science - Vascular Technology program is offered by Fairleigh Dickinson University.

Overview

Vascular Technologists, another title for Cardiovascular Sonographers, assist physicians in the diagnosis of disorders affecting the heart and circulatory systems by use of ultrasound instrumentation. They non-invasively record vascular information such as blood pressure, oxygenation, and circulation throughout the body.

Following acceptance to the Medical Imaging Science - Vascular Technology program, students will require access to transportation while completing both classwork and clinical training at a variety of clinical sites over a period of 15 months beginning in the Fall of senior year. Tuition and financial aid are available through Rutgers.
