Why do RN’s choose to earn a BSN degree? Career Advancement. If your career goal is to become a shift leader, nurse director, clinical manager, or to build a bridge to become an advanced practice nurse, the RN to BSN program at the Bradley School of Nursing is the perfect option for you.

According to the Institute of Medicine (2010), "Nurses should achieve higher levels of education and training through an improved education system that promotes seamless academic progression.”  Pittsburg State University has implemented this decree and is making obtainment of an BSN degree for the working ADN nurse as seamless as possible.

We understand how difficult it can be to find time for classes when you work full-time as an RN. It’s why we also offer a part-time study option. This option is perfect choice for RN’s who want to work full-time and earn their degree over the course of several years.

The Irene Ransom Bradley School of Nursing is fully accredited by The Higher Learning Commission, the Commission on Collegiate Nursing Education, and approved by the Kansas State Board of Nursing. Our faculty are among the most accomplished in the Midwest. Their knowledge and dedication to students is why students in the  RN-BSN track have a very high completion rate.

The School of Nursing offers a program leading to the degree Bachelor of Science in Nursing with a major in nursing, in two tracks, the Pre-RN Licensure Track and the RN to BSN Track.
