Within a Christ-centered liberal arts curriculum, the mission of the Criminal Justice program at the Trinity International University is to provide students with a strong foundation in the studies of criminology, including criminal law, legal systems, corrections, and policing.


This Criminal Justice program at the Trinity International University will prepare students to enter advanced programs in legal studies and law enforcement and for allied careers in the criminal justice field. The Criminal Justice program is designed to prepare students for a wide variety of career choices in the areas of law enforcement, cyber-crime, paralegal, and postgraduate work.

We use a variety of approaches to provide students with the practical and theoretical framework they need, including labs, field trips, and internships. Some careers, such as law enforcement, require additional training and education. Trinity criminal justice graduates will be prepared for this next level of training.

General requirements

  • Complete the English Requirements for admission.
  • Fill out the online application.
  • Submit your high school transcripts and any college transcripts that you may have as well as the ACT (school code: 1150) or SAT (school code: 1810) or CLT. 
  • Complete your Certificate of Finance form and submit it to the International Student and Scholar Office. 
  • Send in your deposit to receive your I-20 or DS-2019 Certificate of Eligibility. A $2000 (U.S.) deposit is required before an I-20 or DS-2019 (Certificate of Eligibility) can be issued to you. 
  • Pay the $200 SEVIS Fee to the United States government. 
  • Contact the U.S. Embassy in your country to set up a visa appointment interview, once you have received your I-20.
