Overview
The Business Management (Hons) programme from University of Hull Business School (HUBS) gives you a strong base of knowledge while letting you explore areas that you might want to specialise in. You’ll build a solid foundation through a series of topics such as accounting, marketing, human resource management, sustainability, supply chain management or entrepreneurship, while also developing the hands-on experience that employers look for as part of our Career-ready Guarantee.
This is because our degrees offer our unique Authentic Business Learning (ABL) approach. Each year you’ll take part in projects and collaborations with businesses. It’s our unique way of putting you – and your career – at the forefront of everything we do.
You could find yourself working with a local business to solve a problem; collaborating with Team GB; on a placement with the likes of BMW, Disney, Sony or Jaguar Land Rover; or even spending a year or a semester studying abroad at one of our partner institutions around the world. And all of this combined means you’ll be treated like a future business professional from day one as you develop the skills and experience to stay up-to-date in the unpredictable, dynamic business world.
Your future prospects
Our graduates go on to successful careers at a variety of businesses such as IBM, Red Bull, Morrisons, Next, Rolls-Royce and HSBC.
Or if your goal is to be your own boss, our entrepreneurship pathway will guide you through the process of planning and setting up your own business.
You’ll be supported in sourcing relevant placements and employer projects and you’ll also get access to our global alumni community, which can help you identify potential mentors and develop your professional networks.
