Turn your passion into a successful career in Culinary Arts! The Gastronomy programme offered at Gasma, the Gastronomic Campus of UCH-CEU Cardenal Herrera University in Spain, combines both the Mediterranean tradition and the most innovative Gastronomy trends and techniques. This is the perfect combination that has made Spain an international leader of gastronomic innovation and quality.

The Study Programme for the Bachelor's Degree equips prospective students with a practical approach and solid foundation on which to build their future careers. Since Gastronomy and Management are not isolated disciplines, students receive a global vision that will allow them to assume their profession in the labor market.

On an academic level, the study programme is based on four knowledge pillars:

Gastronomy. By transferring knowledge on the food product, culinary techniques and the agro-food industry, students will delve in the nature, origin and traceability of food and beverages and the principles in their processes. 

Science. Teaching students to develop a scientific method to internalize the importance of working with discipline and organization. Providing the tools to be able to develop an RDI department (research, development & innovation), which is essential in any company related to gastronomy.

Business Management. Taking a practical, applied approach to the hospitality business with the aim of equipping students with the tools they need to set up solid business projects and protect their financial viability. 

Languages. We encourage among students the use of English as a standard language while fostering the learning process with training activities that will take place in an international and multicultural environment.


Gastronomy, the tourism sector and the agro-food company are booming and constantly evolving sectors. The constant emergence of new needs defines the present situation.

The new professional that the gastronomic sector demands, must have a great interdisciplinary training alongside the areas of gastronomy, management and science. There is no doubt that this new generation of professionals must emerge from a specialized university degree.

In this sector, students will be able to take operative executive positions such as executive chefs or culinary directors and respond to management profiles such as Food & Beverage Directors. Graduates will be able to hold senior management positions in a company, create a gastronomic or agro-food business of their own or advise other companies on the improvement of their processes.

Executive Chef. This itinerary teaches the most innovative culinary techniques. You will learn about new gastronomic trends and be initiated in the field of research. 

Gastronomic Business Food & Beverage With this itinerary, students acquire advanced skills in the field of management in order to work as Manager or Food and Beverages Director. 


This innovative teaching method involves having an expert trainer for each thematic block within each subject. It only makes sense if you have the best team. Teachers are aware that their job is not only to teach, but to ensure that students learn, mature and advance in their education and career.

Scholarship UCH-CEU Merit Program

We have more than 90 scholarships for new students. This scholarship offers a reduction between 65% and 100% of the total price of each academic year. Moreover you will know if we have granted you this Scholarship before the 1th of June, that is to say before getting the results the University Entrance Examinations (PAU). 

UCH-CEU Scholarship for outstanding grades

This is the reward for those students with best academic performance. The only requirement for this scholarship is the academic excellence.
