Key facts:
- Graduates of the Education - Secondary Mathematics program at Baylor University earn a Bachelor of Science in Education (B.S. Ed.) with certification in one subject area. Supplemental certification may be added in English as a Second Language.
- The School of Education offers a unique experience for Teacher Education majors. Unlike other programs, Baylor's School of Education offers seven semesters of hands-on experience in the classroom.
- The program builds upon the classroom knowledge and the students are given increasing responsibility each semester. By the students' senior year, they are teaching full time during the fall and spring semesters. Several schools in Waco partner with the Baylor School of Education to provide field experience for Teacher Education majors.
