PS offers a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science with concentrations in Political Science, Pre-Law, Political Science - Public Policy and Administration and International Studies. A Master of Public Administration is also available at University of North Carolina at Pembroke.

Overview

The Department is committed to excellence in student preparation, engaging in significant research to expand knowledge of public affairs, and bringing this knowledge to public sector and non-profit leaders and workers within our service region.

We offer a Master in Public Administration (MPA) degree, and an undergraduate concentration in public administration as part of a Bachelor Degree (BA) in political science. The Political Science - Public Policy and Administration degree can be earned entirely online or through a combination of online and on-campus classes at UNCP.

We emphasize quality teaching within our programs, striving to produce well-prepared graduates for the public, non-profit, and private sectors. Each faculty member actively engages in scholarship and professional service, bringing both their knowledge and experience into the classroom.
