Theology from Dordt University will help you develop the background knowledge you’ll need to dive further into your studies.
You will have the opportunity to pursue emphases in biblical studies, systematics, missions and evangelism, ag missions, and youth ministry. Each one builds on the foundations of biblical foundations, Christian confessions, and Reformed theology.

General requirements
- Complete an application: Completing an application is free for all international applicants.
- ACT or SAT Scores: All students must submit official copies of their scores on either the ACT or SAT in order to be approved for admission to Dordt College.
- Transcripts of high school or university coursework: Dordt College requires the submission of official English transcripts of all high school (grades 9-12) and prior university coursework.
- Statement of faith and essay
- International students may also be interviewed or asked to submit a brief (350 to 500) word essay about their faith background and why they are interested in studying within the Christian setting at Dordt College.
- A minimum grade point average (GPA) of 2.25 on a 4.0 scale is required of all students for admission.
- English-language proficiency
- Scanned copies of test results may be sent for review, but official copies will be required before an I-20 is issued.
