Objectives

We teach you based on objectives. The Bachelor's Degree in Pre-School Education and Primary Education will provide:

A sound command of all applicable course content. Always from a global perspective.

Techniques to ensure peaceful co-existence in the classroom through emotional education and autonomy. Promotion of effort, constancy and discipline.

Knowledge of how language develops in a multicultural and multilingual environment.

Out-of-classroom skills relating to school organisation, tutoring sessions for parents or your relationship with other education agents. Preparation for the demands of today's society.

Sensitivity to diversity and gender equality. Respect for human rights and civic values.

The ability to introduce students to the digital world and add cultural richness through new pedagogical possibilities.

Valuing cooperative work, a critical spirit and responsibility in relation to a sustainable future.

Practice the theory you have learnt

We collaborate with internships at public, state-subsidised private and private institutions. In the first two cases, training centres must be accredited by the Generalitat de Catalunya Education Department. In the third case, we establish bilateral collaboration agreements between universities and institutions in Catalonia, the rest of Spain and abroad.

General requirements

Fill in the admission application form
Admission test: It consists of a test and a personal interview.
If you have been admitted, we will send you an official letter so that you can reserve your place by paying 20% of the enrolment fee for the first year.
To become officially enrolled you must legalise and authorise a series of documents depending on your country of origin and studies.
If you are from outside the European Union, to enrol officially at UIC Barcelona you must have your upper-secondary qualification officially recognised.
If you are from the European Union, you must contact the UNED to process your credentials. These credentials are what European students need to study at a Spanish university.
