About

The aim behind the Advertising and Public Relations programme of Universitate Internacional de Catalunya is to train future professionals in this field based on two fundamental dimensions: the human dimension and the professional dimension.

Overview

Studies in the Advertising and Public Relations programme of Universitat Internacional de Catalunya offer future professionals a holistic vision of communications and prepare them to be creative project managers and communication consultants, consistently emphasising the critical skills and social commitment that are fundamental to this profession.

Because we live in an increasingly inter-connected world, the UIC Barcelona enhances its educational offerings by incorporating the latest technologies and mastery of the English language into the curriculum.

The University’s facilities are equipped with cutting-edge equipment, and the international dimension of the coursework – through workshops, courses given in English, and meeting points featuring prominent figures in an international forum – are key to securing professional success in the future.

The aim behind the Bachelor’s Degree in Advertising and Public Relations is to train future professionals in this field based on two fundamental dimensions: the human dimension and the professional dimension. In line with what is underlined by ADECEC (the Association of Public Relations and Communications Consultancy Companies) we believe it to be fundamental to teach people values: loyal, since public relations work is based on a long-term relationship, credible, committed and rigorous. At the same time, the saturation among audiences from the traditional media used for advertising, requires professionals from the area to have the ability to transcend a consumerist and superficial perspective. The audience demands a more personal relationship, and to provide a response to this new professional profiles are required.
