The Professional Development in Volunteer Management course at University of Dundee has been developed in consultation with third sector organisations, practitioners and managers in order to enhance opportunities for continuing professional development in managing volunteers.

This course will help you to develop more effective practice in your own profession. You will be required to study your own practice; to explore ways in which you can test new ideas and to explore modules of continuing professional development, applying them to your own circumstances.


The BA Professional Development course is a work based course designed to widen access to learning from a range of professional contexts including management, administration, further education, community engagement, social work and health, in public, voluntary and private sector agencies.
