The three-year full-time award provides the theoretical and developmental aspects of sport in conjunction with the practical skills needed for many of the varied careers that exist within the industry.

Combining the acquisition of practical and transferable skills with theoretical understanding, the Sport Science (Coaching) programme of Writtle University College will produce graduates capable of applying their scientific knowledge to the pursuit of improving athletes.
