Overview

The programme is designed to allow students who have previously studied for a foundation degree or HND to progress onto a qualification at Honours (third year equivalent) level. The course at this level becomes more academic than previous qualifications, leaving some of the vocational aspects of the foundation degree behind. The qualification is designed to ensure that you develop an in-depth knowledge of the education sector alongside the leadership skills required to progress to a senior role within the Children's Workforce. It is aimed at individuals working mainly in an early years or primary school-age setting.
