Go for IT
Information Technology is about much more than being a computer geek. Of course, the role requires an in-depth knowledge of computers and their systems, but it’s also about helping others. Your future job will be to find solutions to the big and small problems that arise within an organization. IT is for creative people who love to imagine possibilities, solve problems, and make a difference in their service to Christ in the world.
Every business and enterprise requires Information Technology to function in this global economy. The curriculum of the Information Technology program of Concordia University Wisconsin will prepare you to enter this engaging field by giving you the necessary tools to manage and apply technology for any organization. Over the course of your studies, you will be presented with real-world technical issues to gain hands-on experience in finding solutions. You’ll learn to plan, design, implement, maintain, and use database management systems, and you’ll get to use computer hardware and software to troubleshoot actual problems. Upon graduation, you’ll be equipped to respond to the ongoing demands of computing. By pursuing a career as an IT professional, you’ll have the opportunity to put your knowledge to very practical use.
