A degree in secondary broadfield science education allows you to teach a variety of science classes. Graduates can teach any science class from grade 4 to 12.
Whether you’re studying non-living systems in physical science, examining the natural processes of our planet in environmental science, or dive into learning more about life and living organisms in biology, the Broadfield Science Education program of Concordia University Wisconsin will prepare you to teach any science class. In addition to this degree, you can select to do a physical science or biology/environmental science emphasis. physical science allows you to teach upper level courses in chemistry while the biology emphasis allows you to teach upper level biology.

Applicants for graduate programs must have the equivalent of a bachelor’s degree with a minimum GPA equivalent to 2.5 on a US 4.0 grading scale. Admitted applicants typically have an undergraduate GPA of or better on a 4.0 scale. No exam grade should be lower than 4.5 (European grade scale) or D (American grade scale).
