Learning outcomes
Presented in accelerated format, the Legal Studies - Public Administration program at Illinois Dominican University allows you to complete the equivalent of two years of full-time coursework in just 20 months. The program is an interdisciplinary program exploring the American legal system from a wide range of perspectives, including economics, philosophy, theology and history. You’ll study with leading scholars and legal professionals and build competence in writing, research and critical thinking. You’ll learn how the legal system works, how it interrelates with social justice and how to assist people in asserting their rights.

General requirements
- Complete either the Dominican University online application for freshman, transfer or graduate, depending on your status. Freshmen can also apply using the Common Application, which streamlines the college application process for students applying to multiple institutions.
- Pay a nonrefundable $100.00 application fee.
- Enrolling students requesting documentation for an F-1 visa must submit a Financial Statement Form (pdf) to the Office of Admission. This is essential for receiving an I-20 and should be submitted along with all other admission documents.
