Overview

There is an increasing demand for careers that tackle the complex issues such as climate change, waste management, resource availability, biodiversity and pollution in society. As a freshman at the Environmental Science and Sustainability program of Heidelberg University, you’ll be in a lab working with your professors – not graduate or teaching assistants. You’ll also have access to over 200 acres of natural area for study and research, including three nature preserves, a conservation farm, two rivers, and a campus research pond.
