Overview

The primary objective of the Mathematics and Science Education - Mathematics Education undergraduate program from TED University is to train qualified elementary mathematics teachers who are capable of contributing to national and international practices in their field. These teachers are open to learning and development, having the ability to perform their profession effectively, and making leadership in the field, thinking reflectively and critically.

Students who are enrolled in this undergraduate program are awarded the Bachelor of Science in Elementary Mathematics Education after graduating from a four-year undergraduate program. Our graduates, who complete their education with qualified faculty staff in a rich learning environment, will be more advantageous in finding a job in elementary mathematics teaching.

Career Opportunities

The graduates of TED University Elementary Mathematics Education Undergraduate Program are entitled to receive a Bachelor's Degree in Elementary Mathematics Education. Those who successfully complete the program can be employed by private primary schools, TUBITAK, universities, publishing houses and other foundations in addition to the Ministry of National Education.

Graduates of Elementary Mathematics Education Program can continue their master's and doctoral studies in the same field and gain master's degree, academic staff, head teacher, administrative staff, research assistant and doctoral degrees. Elementary mathematics teachers will be able to participate in educational activities of different sectors with the advantage of knowing foreign languages. For example; It is also possible to take part in educational software sector and education broadcasting which is becoming more and more widespread in our country and in the world.

TED University has a culture and infrastructure that encourages students to work in schools in international schools and in EU countries. The advantages of the language of instruction are English, the participation of faculty members from abroad, the opportunity to establish sociocultural links with foreign students and the programs prepared in line with international standards.

High School Diploma (if not graduated yet, Graduation Certificate taken from the high school. The expected date of graduation and the expected graduation score must be stated on the certificate)
