Overview
Students pursuing the Bachelor of Science in Industrial Technology degree at University of Texas Permian Basin receive a broad based general Industrial Technology education. Students develop not only their technical skills but also their personality, cooperativeness, innovativeness, concern for the organization, communication skills and dependability. Graduates of the program will be equipped to meet the new and emerging challenge of a modern high technology society.
The programme
Both the Industrial Technology and the BAAS degrees provide the ability for students to pursue a Petroleum Technology track by taking specialized courses in Petroleum Technology. These courses prepare students for careers in the oil exploration industry in Texas and other oil producing regions.
