Applicants for graduate programs must have the equivalent of a bachelor’s degree with a minimum GPA equivalent to 2 on a US 4.0 grading scale. Admitted applicants typically have an undergraduate GPA of or better on a 4.0 scale. No exam grade should be lower than 4.5 (European grade scale) or D (American grade scale).

General Requirements

  • Adherence to the National Athletic Trainer’s Code of Ethics;
  • Clear background check and fingerprinting;
  • Completion of all courses in the academic major with a grade of a C or better;
  • Demonstration of competence in the use of oral and written language by way of writing samples in SPMD/KINS courses;
  • Current certification as a Professional Rescuer or Healthcare Provider (American Red Cross / American Heart Association);
