Course Overview

The result is a multi-billion dollar worldwide industry with myriad careers. Successful musicals can run for decades and a lot of people are needed to keep all that jazz on the road. As well as performers, musical theatre requires writers, producers, technicians and other management staff to make it a success.

The Musical Theatre (Honours) degree offered by Plymouth Marjon University enables students to develop a career as a creative entrepreneur and artist in the musical theatre industry, understanding the range of creative roles and developing a broad portfolio of skills to take advantage of career opportunities. This is a new course and subject to validation, it will run from Sept 2019 so please check back for updates.
