Overview

Our students receive one-on-one coaching with industry professionals. In addition, they have the opportunity to perform in state of the art venues such as the Black Box Theatre. Some of our graduates have gone to perform in leading theatre companies and on hit TV series. 

You can apply Musical Theatre courses to the following:

  • Interdisciplinary Minor with a concentration in Fine Arts (18 credit hours in any Fine Arts courses)
  • Interdisciplinary Major with a concentration in Fine Arts (36 credit hours in any Fine Arts coures)
  • Interdisciplinary Honours

English Language Requirements

    The TOEFL iBT ® measures your English-language abilities in an academic setting. The test has four sections (reading, listening, speaking, and writing), each with a score range of 0-30, for a total score range of 0-120.

    The IELTS – or the International English Language Test System – tests your English-language abilities (writing, listening, speaking, and reading) on a scale of 1.00–9.00.     The TOEFL®PBT is administered in a paper format and measures your ability to use and understand English in a classroom setting at the college or university level. It accurately measures how well you can listen, read and write in English while performing academic tasks.

General Requirements

  • International applicants must demonstrate academic strength in a high school program of college/university preparatory courses with subject distribution, other minimum requirements, and academic standing comparable to that required for Canadian applicants. A non-refundable $55.00 ($40.00 for New Brunswick residents) application fee.
  • Please note that Bachelor of Arts applicants who have been accepted to and completed courses at St. Thomas University within the past three years are not required to pay the application fee. International students who wish to have their correspondence from the University sent to them by courier may pay an additional non-refundable $50 courier fee at the time of application.
