The clinical role of physician assistants includes primary and specialty care in medical and surgical settings in rural and urban areas. Students will learn to work successfully in the health care environment, provide treatment for patients, problem solve, and value their professionalism.

    The TOEFL iBT ® measures your English-language abilities in an academic setting. The test has four sections (reading, listening, speaking, and writing), each with a score range of 0-30, for a total score range of 0-120.

    The TOEFL®PBT is administered in a paper format and measures your ability to use and understand English in a classroom setting at the college or university level. It accurately measures how well you can listen, read and write in English while performing academic tasks.

General Requirements

  • Complete the appropriate type of Application for Admission.
  • Submit the nonrefundable $50 application fee (for paper applications only).
  • Submit proof of eligibility for admission (official high school transcript, GED transcript of your scores confirming receipt of a Commonwealth diploma, or educational transcript).
  • Submit proof of academic prerequisites if applying for a major with special admission requirements (See Acceptance and Enrollment Restrictions for more information).
  • Upon notification, submit $150 tuition deposit.
  • Take Penn College placement tests on assigned date.
  • Attend Pre-enrollment Advising Session.
  • Pay tuition and fees by deadline indicated on your e-bill.
  • Attend a two-day Connections session.
