About the program
From anatomy and physiology to techniques and tools, you’ll learn what it takes to excel in the field of dental hygiene. Earning a Dental Hygiene at Pennsylvania College of Technology opens the door to advanced employment opportunities in alternative career settings beyond the clinical setting. And with extensive hands-on experience in our cutting-edge dental hygiene lab, you’ll be real-world ready to hit the ground running.
The curriculum will enable the graduate to assume positions of responsibility in a variety of alternate care settings, and also create positions to meet the demands of future healthcare needs. Major-related courses at the 300 level and above are completed via distance education. Additional, the support courses in the final two years of the curriculum may also be taken via distance education.
