IT and computing have evolved from time to time. Ever since the dawn of the internet, confidentiality, authenticity, and integrity of information had become an issue. Threats such as Hacking, Malicious Codes, and Application Vulnerability have changed how IT benefits the human race.
Career
Upon completion of this (Hons.) Information Technology in Computer System Security programme at University of Kuala Lumpur, students shall enter the information security job market as information security professionals, IT Security Officer or a Security Analyst in defending and securing computer networks, developing secure software and application, developing a firm security and ICT policy and capable of performing a digital forensic investigation.

- Academic Documents (school certificates and transcripts). You may refer Malaysia Qualification Agency (MQA) guidelines for the level of programme you can apply according to your current school certificate.

- Student must complete 12 years of schooling and obtain general pass in their High School Certificate, A-levels or equivalent with min Grade C (60%) in any 2 subjects and min Grade C (60%) in Mathematics in their Secondary School or O-level.
