Overview

The (Hons) Computer Engineering Technology - Computer Systems programme at University of Kuala Lumpur also attempts to facilitate students’ problem-solving as well as interpersonal skills in dealing with the possible effects that technology can have on humanity through the studies of social and ethical issues. It also instills an understanding of the need and desires continuous self-renewal throughout one’s careers.

Career

Computing Systems are components of a wide range of products such as fuel injection systems in vehicles, medical devices such as x-ray machines, communication devices such as cell phones, and household devices such as alarm systems and washing machines. Increasingly, computer engineers are involved in the design of computer-based systems to address highly specialized and specific application needs.

Computer Engineers work in most industries, including the computer, aerospace, telecommunications, power production, and manufacturing and electronics industries.

Academic Documents (school certificates and transcripts). You may refer Malaysia Qualification Agency (MQA) guidelines for the level of programme you can apply according to your current school certificate.

Student must complete 12 years of schooling and obtain general pass in their High School Certificate, A-levels or equivalent with min Grade C (60%) in Mathematics and one of the Science subjects (such as Physics, Chemistry or Biology – depending on the programme)
