The Bachelor of Business in Hotel and Catering Management from the Atlantic Technological University is a three-year full-time programme which offers a broad suite of subjects related to management within the hospitality industry from graduate entry level to the highest level of management. 

Overview

This dynamic Hotel and Catering Management programme from the Atlantic Technological University gives the learner an industry-focused curriculum which will address both theoretical and practical concepts of the hospitality industry.

Teaching is delivered through a range of practical and academic learning styles to maximise the student learning experience. Work Placements

At the end of Year 1 - students will undertake a mandatory 12-week work placement in Ireland. At the end of Year 2 - students will undertake a mandatory 30-week work placement internationally. Our industry Links Office, together with the academic team, will assist students in making the best possible choices for their placements

Job Opportunities

Graduates often begin their careers at supervisory level in hospitality and tourism establishments and progress to general management or ownership. The focus of this business award is to provide key business knowledge, practical skills and a clear understanding of how the industry operates in its many different forms.
