Overview
This dynamic Hotel and Catering Management programme from the Atlantic Technological University gives the learner an industry-focused curriculum which will address both theoretical and practical concepts of the hospitality industry.
Teaching is delivered through a range of practical and academic learning styles to maximise the student learning experience. Lecturers who teach on this programme are highly skilled professionals with many years industry experience. This award provides graduates with the skills and competencies to manage/operate medium-sized enterprises within the hospitality and tourism industry.
Work Placements
At the end of Year 1 - students will undertake a mandatory 12-week work placement in Ireland. At the end of Year 2 - students will undertake a mandatory 30-week work placement internationally. Graduates often begin their careers at supervisory level in hospitality and tourism establishments and progress to general management or ownership.
