In the Integrated Science Education (Grades 7-12) program at Ashland University you’ll take a variety of science courses to prepare you with the diverse scientific knowledge you’ll need to teach students. You’ll also be placed in the middle or high school classroom as an observer as early as your freshman year, gradually increasing your time in the classroom each year. Your senior year student teaching experience will culminate all of your field experience for firsthand preparation as a science education teacher.
